Hey! My name is Heather – I have the privilege of heading up the I Am Project. I live in beautiful Cambridge, and alongside the I Am Project I work for my church, particularly with young adults and people with Autism, learning disabilities and additional needs. I love, love, love working with people: I’ve got a few years’ experience under my belt working as a youth worker in Cambridge, I studied for a degree in Youth and Community Work and Practical Theology, and I love my role on the pastoral team at church.
I’ve got a big passion for writing, blogging and social media – it’s a great way to connect with people and share a message. I’m a massive believer of trying things out and working it out as you go along, and the I Am Project is the fruit of that – it’s been incredible to see the blog and social media grow.
I can normally be found with a massive coffee in hand: I love reading, art, running, cycling and spending time with people, and I’m a fan of Netflix.
